I can guarantee you the Hoya Pro1 Digital (slim type) doesn't vignette on the 10-22 and Canon 30D.

I hv a 20d and am choosing your recommendation for my 10-22 over the B+W slim CPL.

I intend to mount a cokin system with a Graduated ND over the polarizer. Will this do or any other advise to mount the GND filter? What cokin system should I use (holder size)?

Appreciate any advise. Thks.

youll get black vertical bands down the side of the picture using a cokin GND filter at 10mm. ive heard that you can cut off the end of the filter holder to get over this but i havent got around to buying a second holder to butcher yet!

Would getting a bigger ring and holder help or are the holders standard sizes?

Would this be the solution to achieve a blue sky during sunrise without underexposing the foreground or should one just use a blue graduated ND (w/o the CPL)?

Sorry for so many questions but very new to filters.

I have the Cokin wide angle adapter (single slot) and Hitech grad filters, you have to be careful at 10mm are you can get vignetting but by keeping the holder aligned straight up it generally won't show up. By 11mm your usually OK but forget stacking unless you spend the extra money on a setup like the Cokin Z-Pro and there again I can't say for sure if it won't vignette at 10mm. Being a wider setup though I'd tend to think it wouldn't.

IMO the 10-22 doesn't require a CP filter - it does a pretty good job on its own without one! Spend you money on something else!

I ended up getting the B+W MRC slim CP. It will be used on my other lenses as well but I went with the slim to give me the option of using it on the 10-22. Thanks for all of the replies.
