Yup. But he's also got a lot of people's money.

I for one appreciate his efforts, but also feel like those of us who ordered have every right/reason to want to know what's going on.

Hopefully everythings alright, and he's okay, I have seen these sort of things go sour on other forums .

I dont log onto the board too much, so my activity on here is not something to judge status by. I will be sending out another email tonight when i get home, and a few people should be receiving their lenses shortly. Once they get them, I am sure they will post up that they did.

Again, any questions, comments, or concerns will be dealt with within 24 hours if emailed to me (except for zacwolf. I still have not replied to you, but you will receive an email tonight). I can not guaruntee that I will see posts made to the board in a timely fashion. Like what was mentioned above, its been 3 days since I logged into the board, and I only logged in today because I had some downtime at work.

I appreciate that everyone is to a certain extent excited/impatient but we need to appreciate that Ryan hasn't got a lot of peoples money. He's paid that on to the supplier of the lenses. It's worth keeping in mind that he isn't (I don't think) a professional importer of good or camera dealer he's just a man with an idea and probably some regrets and a fair amount of stress that he's taken on this task on our behalves. This is in addition to his day job family and social life.

Agreed, put back the pitchforks and torches.. If we wanted the lenses within a week we could have spent an extra $50 or more. This is a major task - I frequently re-sell online and its much more of a pain in the rear. Checking and re-checking addresses, packing, new boxes and packing material for the items, and then carting the packages to less than thrilled post office or ups/fedex minimum wage employees that now have work to do.

i still love you ryan, seriously, you are an awesome guy for putting up with our BS that accompanies our anticipation, you have been awesome throughout this whole process with keeping us updating and answering my annoying questions

Yup, just moments ago.

no emails here.........hope I get one soon!, seems the second batch is A.W.O.L. .......oh dear!

Yup. Latest email update is some folks should have gotten a shipping notice email.

The remaining folks are waiting on the second package which is in shipping limbo.

[And just to reiterate, I appreciate Ryan's efforts on this a lot.]

I received the update 5.5 with the notification of the shipment. As soon as I have the lens, I'll post immediately. Thanks Ryan.
