The water was a little stronger than expected and I think my shutter speed a little on the slow side...but, this was the first time I had been to these falls and will definately be going back sometime. So any thoughts for improvement greatly appreciated.
I do have other shots from here and maybe i'll post some of them at a later date, just these two stand out a for some reason.
Both shots taken with the 18-55 kit lens.

Very nice indeed, Ken.
Beautifully exposed and processed.
Both images work well.
Improvements ?
Well, perhaps the first image is a bit tight to the left and bottom left but that's really nit picking and also subjective.

Well done.

Big fan of the first one. The brown in the foreground water makes it very interesting to me. Good job.

Both are very nice, but I love that first one! Very well done (especially considering it was with the "useless" kit lens! :p )

Great shots. I love the colors on the first one. Very nice, indeed.

I don't have anything against Nikon cameras, just the people who use them.

I think they're lovely images, Ken. :D
There's plenty of detail in the water, so I don't think you got the shutter speed wrong at all. Mind you, if this was taken on your outing with the 'OB' your company was definitely questionable

Love the elegance of your 1st shot

As Cameron mentioned the crop could've been a little further out bottom left.

Ken your b&w is by far the best shot.
I really works.
Thanks for showing.

Thanks guys appreciate the comments....The first shot does also have a small crop from the left and bottom of frame, either a rock not in frame enough on the left or blown water from the bottom of frame spoils....I could try cloning those areas which would give more space but didn't think the shot was worth the trouble.

Thanks Paul, I think I prefer the B/W out of these two also....
I didn't really take that many shots but I think I have 2 or 3 more that I'm quite pleased with.....I'll post them later.
Thanks again.
Ken.

Ken, love both images - the B&W works really well and I like the tightness of the crop in the first image. As for the slowness of the shutter speed I think it's fine, everything which is moving is nice blurred, good shooting.

:p :p :p Nothing more to be said!
