it's a lovely shot
I know the damage the magpies are known to do is not liked by man and small birds alike, but they are very beautiful birds
and it's front shown here is gorgeous
to see the bird just like it ....showing it's chest

love the wet look too

And yes Marie, even in my neck of the woods the magpie is disliked.
One chap said to me that if he had the power he would kill the lot.
But there is no mistaking that it is a beautiful bird.

Hi Tony,
you did a great job on the exposure, great details on the black & white,
nice bokeh.
IMHO the grey frame is a little distracting,
