I don't normally photograph sports, but my grandson is enrolled in peewee football :)

Jim - Nice colors, exposure and framing but the cluttered background is a bit distracting. You can't choose the venue but you can minimize the clutter by opening aperture to blur it some -- wide open if your glass is still sharp there. #52's big enough to put some hurt on the kid with the ball -- which one's your grandson?

Good point.. (See I said I don't usually shoot sports). Thanks for the tip.

I walked all around the field and was unhappy with the background no matter where I stood... I never thought of blurring it out :) .. This shot was f/11 and I can open up to f/4.5. I'll have to try that next Sunday.
