I would have left a little more to the right of the egret? so it had some more space to look into, but would still be proud to get close enough to get one half as good !

Ian, it was not until I looked a bit closer that I realised that the first shot does not look quite right. I don`t know why as it was taken from about 20 metres whilst it was sitting on top of a berry bush. I suppose some shots work and some don`t. Its a fine shot, its probably just unfortunate with the blue background etc, makes it look odd, maybe with a slightly different background this would be really nice ! Dont knock yourself out though, its still a nice shot !
