My first hummingbird post!!

These were taken today at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, where I waited patiently for nearly an hour, but it paid off finally :D These are actually my first bird photos posted here, and any comments are welcome, good or bad. I didn't realize I had the ISO set at 400 until I had already left :oops: durn it(very sunny day).

I'd say you did a really nice job! Patience is definitely required to shoot hummingbirds!

Good shots..

Last year I had hummers fighting over my feeder.. This year I had hardly any visitors. Strange......

Thanks everyone! These were taken with the Canon EF 100-300 USM, which I purchased from a fellow POTN member. I'm not yet in the market for an "L" lens, but hope to afford one soon. I also took this "busy bee" shot before the hummers showed up.
