This was on a river no less :) The foam was caused by water spilling over a nearby dam.

This is a really good shot Jim of the Pelican. The details are quite outstanding on the bird with good focus and clarity and perfect exposure, that's a mighty fine lens you have there. Well done.

Exposure is pretty good considering the the whites and the blacks in the bird. Nice and sharp with great pose/flight/action and position in the frame. Nice capture!
