Waterfalls - Airbrushing Nature?

Here's an excuse for trying out some techniques for freezing the essense of waterfalls. I'm sure with the right lighting/exposure, fascinating results can be achieved, using every bit as much technical ability as the usual "smooth" shots...

I think its a waterfall by waterfall decision. Some need long exposures but then the really powerful ones look better with a quick exposure because it shows the raw power of the falls. Its basically a prefference decision and either way it can look great or look terrible if the composition is not good.
