Its been a sad time in the world of Wildlife and Conservation with the untimely death of Steve Irwin 'crocodile hunter'. RIP Steve and long may your ideas and tireless work go on in this world.

Six weeks ago i was lucky to have been in Aussie Zoo for one of his last appearance there, it was also his daughters birthday.

A tragic loss.. his poor family. RIP. I suppose it may be some consolation that he died doing something he loved.

its funny how i used to make fun of him thinking one day hes gna get hurt. now i regret thinking like that. 0_0 he was a good guy. RIP

Excellent shots, I agree with you about catching him at his happiest with his family. Certainly looks like a excellent father. Shame for his children to lose their father at such a young age... Thanks for posting.

He did amazing things for wildlife. I think he was a brilliant man, who also knew how to have fun!!

thats cool! i was just wandering the otherday if someone on here had any pics of him they were going to post! like everyone else said, he had such excitement for life...
i can hear him say "Ah, she's a beaut isn't she!

i want to wait a few days before posting them. And yes he did have a great excitement to life...

lets hope his thread allows people to be able to see Steve happy and highlights the ongoing work that he has put in place..
