A group of us thought to do a shoot with a grunge/dark theme. This wasn't for anything, a bunch of my friends and I were just tripping. We had planned to do it in a cemetery. someone offered to bring a coat with a hood, for the costume.

This is what I came up with the concept, it's a mixture of a lot of things, photoplaying being one of it.

Hope you like these.

The first three are good with respect to mood. However, in the third one, I think it's ridiculously disrespectful to sit on someone's tombstone.

The last picture would've been much better without the addition of the panther...

I like them a lot, especially the 2nd and 3rd ones. The panther is very cheesey, though.

I'm assuming these were taken during the day and then darkened. If that's the case, perhaps you could make the sun look more like a moon to give it a darker mood. When I look at the second one, it looks like he has a halo, and I think the mood might be increased if it was a dark moon behind him instead. Maybe not, I'm just thinking out loud. Anyway, they're very cool.

Excellent shots. You really have achieved the look you were going for. I must second Steve's comment about sitting on someone's gravestone. A photographer often gets carried away with the situation and can easily forget "common sense" so we'll let you get away with it this time.

My apologies. Of course, there was no intention to desecrate the dead. Now I know.

Thanks for the comments.

Excellent work and worthy of a CD cover (numbers 1 & 2).

Somehow, I typically relate Goth with arrogance, not loneliness. Three and four seem to be opposing themes to me. Your Photoshop work is very strong, just don't clutter too many of your (good) ideas into one frame.

Nice work, I'm jealous!
