The is my first bird post. Please feel free to C&C for I am ever learning!! I was driving my daughter home from Horseback riding and saw this "beaytiful specimen"....always take your camera.....one never knows when opportunities arise!

A nice introductory shot to the Bird section. My only nit would be the rather hot white feathers near the bottom of the shot and I would have liked to see the entire bird. Still a nice capture.

Welcome to the forum! Looks like a muscovy duck.:D

I agree with Gary here. A little warm on the white, and also appears to have some chromatic abberation (CA) on the white edge. It's the lens' fault. It must be the 18-55mm kit lens?;)

This muscovy is indeed a beautiful specimen, lovely colours. Congrats on your first post. Only critique is what's already mentioned by Gary.
