Come on....do you really have to ask? Not to be ignorant but if people can't spot these obvious ones, they almost deserve to be ripped off.

I would say so. Indonesia is a hotbed for scams. A friend at work ordered a watch and was required to wire the money to a bank account. When the packaged arrived it contained a box of cookies and he was never able to get his money back.

Unfortunately, a lot of these scams operate overseas and may not be breaking any laws in their country of operation.....

Call me paranoid, but I often wonder if, in addition to the scam, these pikers have a secondary nefarious scheme. Maybe some poor soul with an unsecured computer clicks through the site long enough for spyware downloads or keystroke loggers or other nasty things to infect the visitor's machine. Or they have an opportunity to poke around your files. Like I said, call me paranoid.
