What is your opinion on this lens as compared to the Canon for twice the price?

Do take note of my comments though with regards to "Main1" and the 70-200IS @ 200mm performance. I don't believe it's representative of that lens as it's a superlative optic. But for some reason it had problems achieving AF even with multiple attempts for that subject.
