I worked on it for about 4 hours, but there were a few good breaks in there, so Im estimating 3 hours total.
When she asked if I could do it, and I said I'd give it a go, I hadnt seen the photo yet.
It was a challenge...but hey! I love challenges! :D

I didn't shoot a single photo today and it was a beautiful day, grrr. I still want to play with my new toy!

A friend of my parents called and asked for some computer help, they were so lost I spent 2 hours there after work explaining how to open a photo and make greeting cards with paint shop pro, then they started with tons of questions and I needed to get online and they had DIAL UP. downloaded something that took forever and finally they were like OK go home and we'll call you with any more questions..yikes. If ever there were a need for some classes!!

LOL....Crissa, you should have taken some pictures of their confused faces. I'm sure the request would come up in TPBM eventually!

Thanks guys. Sadly I dont have too much of a story. It was a job for someone who works with a friend of mine.
She is about my age, and this is a photo of her great great grandmother, and her great grandmother from Romania. It was severely damaged, and she couldnt find anyone to fix it, so I told her I'd give it a shot.
I'm hoping she will like the outcome, I'll take her the finished photo tomorrow.
Took me only a few hours (and yes, my eyes are a bit buggy)

Any idea when it was shot?

I don't know. Though if that is her great grandmother as an infant, I'm guessing it was at least.... 80-90 years? I'll ask her tomorrow when I take her the photo back.
Oh hang on, let me see if there is a date on the back of the photo.....

Nope. No date.

Zane looking at your pictures tonight, I'm feeling bad you can't ride your beloved horses. How is your mending coming along? Did I tell you I have a co-worker that had similar surgery a week after you did? My understanding she is moving very slowly. No idea when she will be able to come back to the office.

Night Becky.

Hey guys. Last post by Chris (Dylix) was 5 days ago, telling us he was getting ready to leave for his interview. What if something happened to him on?
Seriously.... I'm worried. He would have come in to let us know how the interview went at least, even if he was crazy busy.
I have no idea how to get a hold of him though.

Thats nice of you. My insides are fine, truth is after about 10 days my insides were totally normal. The problem is I had a ruptured bowl for over 5 hours until the cat scan would show the injury. As a result I was a candidate for major infection. Because of this they only stitched the deepest layer of my belly. The rest was left as a large wide open incision. This incision is what still needs to heal although it is going pretty quick. That is why I say I am held together with Velcro. I have a large elastic and Velcro strap around my midsection that keeps things in place. The next problem is they found some "stuff" growing in me:rolleyes: :(. I am going back under the knife pretty soon to remove a large portion of my right kidney that has a tumor growing on it. They won't confirm what it is or isn't until it is biopsied. I am not sure how long all that will keep me off the horses. I would ride this weekend but my wife is besides her self with that idea so I am going to be behind the camera shooting horses instead rather than stress the poor girl more.

Sorry for the graphic medical stuff and to those of you who did not want to know my whole medical life ignore me but I felt like venting.
