I have a large elastic and Velcro strap around my midsection that keeps things in place..

Co-worker has a similar dressing going on. Unfortunately she also ended up with an ostomy, hopefully they will be able to close that up in about 3 months.

The next problem is they found some "stuff" growing in me:rolleyes: :(. I am going back under the knife pretty soon to remove a large portion of my right kidney that has a tumor growing on it.

Good for your wife to keep you off the horses for now. I hope every thing turns out OK, will be sending good thoughts your way.

Gib, are you using some kind of kalidascope filter or software for these? I find them rather cool.

BTW, I to surf the other forums but find you all speak my language and I seem to "get it" better here than where the technical stuff comes out. I leave that up to Curtis N who thrives on techno explanations.

Hey Becky. I used a filter in the previous mirrored image that was all jumbled (Filters Unlimited package). With this one I did the flipping manually. It's really much easier than some think. This is how it's done in PhotoShop.

NOTE: Clean up the image BEFORE you start flipping.... or you'll be creating 2 or 4 times the work! It's true. I do it every time! LOL

1) Create a duplicate layer
2) Using the Move Tool (upper right in the toolbar) click on "View Transform Controls" in the menu bar. Now you have grab points around your object.
3) Click on a side grab point WHILE holding down the ALT key and drag one side of your image to the other. It will flip the image.
4) Change the top layer's opacity to 50%. Now you can see how the two halves meet in the middle.
5) Now select the "Rectangular Marquee Tool" (upper left in toolbar). Drag it across 1/2 of the object that's just been flipped.
6) Erase that selected area.
7) Return the top layer's opacity to 100% and merge the two layers.

You can do this in either horizontal or vertical orientation. In my last one I did this process first horizontally then vertically.

Had to remove the cork from the bottle.

Starting early today, Cat? It's going to be like that is it? - more fast moving fun?
I hope so - it's been a bit quiet the last couple of (european) days. I'll check back in a bit - Hope I have plenty to catch up on ;)

Well, that depends. By 'starting early' do you mean with what was in the bottle, or posting in TPBM?

LOL. No wine before dinner. Promise. :p

It does seem to be a bit slow lately. But I am stuck on my computer for a few hours this morning, so I thought, I may as well have POTN open in the background, right? ;)

I just got back from giving it to her.
(BTW, she is a co-worker of a friend of mine, I just met her recently specifically to do this picture)

She loved it. :D Yay! ("Oh my gosh, that's wonderful" is really cute in a Romanian accent ;))
And I asked her about history, and she said it was taken in the early 20's.

I love it!! Looks like a yellow daisy in there... It *is* fun, isn't it? Really, the possibilities are endless.

Crissa! Your kid is just a natural with the camera!! You're so fortunate that he flashes that big ol' smile with those beautiful blue eyes... instead of running from the camera! :)
