Ok....the obligatory close up of the pet's face with the new wide angle lens.
EF-S 10-22 No PP. Meet Jeffrey up close and personal. ;)

What a cutie!

Try the lens with people's faces tomorrow - it can be really trippy!

G'night Cat! :)

I had no people to play with when the lens got here, so I had to abuse my pets. :p

Night Gib!

I didn't know you were getting a new 10-22 lens! I really want to get a good WA distorted shot of Ashley with this lens, but she just hates having a camera right in her face. I usually have to use a little zoom for my closeups of her...

Neither did I, LOL. It was one of those 'spur of the moment' things. ;)

My dogs won't let me get in their faces, either. But Jeffrey is quite accomodating. :D

How ya been Lonnie? Havent seen ya in a while.

But I never use the pop-up flash. Hmmm... I guess that means it would be ok to smear peanut butter on it though, huh? :D

Yeah, my 10-22 purchase was kind of spur of the moment, too. I'd been lusting after it for a long time, but the actual purchase decision was very quick...

Busy, busy, busy. I know I've been pretty non-existent around here for a while. I did a very impromptu band shoot a week ago and have been struggling to get the pics edited and online for the band's agent. I'm not very happy with the results, though. I wish I'd had time to prepare for it, but it kind of fell in my lap at the last second, literally. Maybe I'll have another chance with a little advance notice...

Lol poor Jinx has a hard ass for a daddy:). No people food ,few treats(except when she brings the paper in), no begging. She self treats at the barn by eating dropped grain and horse poop:shock: EWWWWW! Her favorite is fresh trimmed hoof. I will say she has always been fit and trim and at 10 years old is going strong.
