Nice Museum shots, Alan. Looks like a beautiful place.
The harpie is interesting... I like it. Last time I saw a harpie depicted, it was more bird than woman. I like this rendition better.

No bracing necessary, LOL. ;)

I thought Hermes had wings on his heels...

Seriously cool place Alan. Like I said earlier, the kids could go to the transport place and I'd hit the museum! :D

i spent about 40 minutes in the transport museum (seen 1 old car you've seen em all)
and 5 and a half hours in the Art gallery :) and still didn't see it all...
as with all museums in Glasgow it doesn't even cost anything to get in... (it just had a £27million refit and it looks super now...) not that it was shaby to begin with :)

Apollo is usually depicted with a lyre, as he is the god of music. ;)

Nice museum pictures, Alan. Makes me want to go to the Getty Museum again. I haven't been there in a while.

I like that old MG from the transport museum. I had an MG Midget for a few years (much newer model car than the one in your picture). That was a fun little car. When it wasn't in the shop...

midgets are awesome little cars.

id much rather have an old style sportscar like a midget or the haldane from the last shot in the latest set than a modern car(tthe haldane is actually a modern replica kit car tho and was only made in 1994) i guess a real one was too expensive :)

here's a full shot of the MG (1938 model TA)
