How old is he? A 4 wheeler is a very big deal to a little boy, I'm sure. My kid is 6 and still whines and cries a lot more than I'd like, but she's gradually outgrowing it. Living proof that there IS a God! ;)

Well that is the classic year of the whine. Next year is the year of the no. Then the next year you can start liking him again, lol.

Oh wait, you have kids, you should know this all by heart, heheh.

Oh I would so love to be ignored for a while, I think. My kid is very "interactive" and she wears me out. I love her to pieces, but she's a handful.

CAT!!!! so what do you think?

I KNOW!!

I haven't had too much time to play with it yet, but I'm thinking I like it.
I got it the day I left for Nevada, so I packed it with me, but didn't take the manual. So I had no idea what the different IS switches did.

That, and I specifically took that duck shot at 2.8 so it would be in the EXIF, so the shot suffered for it. I'm a dork.

I'm going to give it a run for its money this weekend, then I'll share. ;)

Don't be jealous, James. ;) Give Delta a call, and you can be here in time for lunch tomorrow. I'll let you play with it.

I finally got the 70-200 2.8 IS. I'd been saving up for one of the 70-200 lenses, hadn't decided on which one. Then I just couldn't pass up the Canon rebate and the BH code discount, so I went ahead and bit.
I'd never even seen one in real life before, let alone held one.
I was surprised at 2 things:
First... it's not white. It's a purty off white creamy color.
Second... its not as heavy as I was expecting. I'd worked myself up a bit over that I guess. :p
