Photoshop is like a treasure trove, isn't it? Just when you think you get it, you find some new amazing stuff. I'd love to take an intensive course. :)

It sure is. No matter what you're trying to accomplish with it, there are probably a dozen other ways to get the same results.

yes - nothing broken or fallen. Just startling. When we moved here some thai people mentioned rumor of earthquakes... But now they happen for real, and quite regularly (every couple of months it seems). I wonder what is brewing under there. After the Tsunami, this region is rather nervous about plates moving and such.

Earthquakes increasing in frequency and intensity in an area known as the Ring of Fire? Naw, no need to worry.

You know, now that I think of it, it really has been quite some time since I last felt an earthquake. We really haven't been having any recently. I'm not sure if that's a good sign or not.

Not.

Now that I've accomplished my doomsaying for the morning, I'm ready for work.

Just noticed Wanda's avatar, and title ... Might I say. A perfect match. The expression on the child's face seems to be saying what her avatar says... :)

Dan all that bull in one small space could be a vewy vewy dangerous place with menus featuring any type of lygume. Nice to see Permie and Wu on board....you know....just in case someone needs to "ask" directions or something.;)

Zane Welcome home glad you made this trip had safe travels with exciting adventures and are back safe and sound. Thanks for sharing it with us....OK, it's been 4 hours...got some more to share? ;) :p

Athena glad that the rumbly wasn't severe. Any after shock? Funny how we all go  at other's natural disasters and yet for those common in our own areas we are quite calm, cautious, but calm.

We had a some great storms come through last night. Dumped 2+ inches of rain (Lonnie those wet drops from the sky). Our electricity at work went out just before 4:00pm long enough for them to have to bring down the system and do complete power/start up. This can take an hour or better so most of us went home. Then during the middle of the rehearsal there was a strike near by that caused all the speakers buzz and a very loud clap of thunder. Last night was the first night they used thunder sound affects during one of the scenes, we were hard pressed to tell what thunder was real and what wasn't....Was it live or Memorex? Nice morning now with temperatures and humidity levels at very comfortable levels.

Tonight is our final dress rehearsal and preview night...we all get 4 tickets we give to friends and/or family to come be our first audiance. Always nice to get to the point where we have an audiance, their response is such a motivator when on stage. We really feed off it. Though I usually know someone in all the audiances, this night is usually when I'm the most nervous since I want it to be a good show for whoever I give my tickets to...this and the night my mom will be in the audiance. Wonder how I'll feel the night Curt is in the audiance? He has always been on the stage with me before.

Sorry, blame the sleep deprivation on my babble fingers.

I love that you know stuff. :D If I'm not mistaken, the ring extends over to your territory too sir. On the 16th of June there was a mag 4 earthquake off the coast of OR. The earth really is fascinating.

Becky - we did have some aftershocks, but they were very gentle swaying sensations. Almost weirder because you find yourself thinking "am I really feeling that or am I just imagining it?" ;)

There is a fault line that comes up through Missouri and to our west that likes to remind us of its existence every few years. The last time it was during the night. I remember waking up and hearing the glass in a case in our room rattle. At first I thought it was a truck going by, as I became more awake it occurred to me it was a tremor. Sure enough it was on the morning news when the radio alarm went off. Curt slept right through it. ;-)a

Nope, I don't have a clue. I have a lady that works for me and she cooks Thai food for us once or twice a week. I should watch her a few times.

I can make a few Indian dishes though. :) I prefer Indian curry to Thai curry. ;)

We have a shopping center that does that here too! It freaks me out. In KL we had a shopping center with a roller coaster INSIDE it. Whenever the coaster went by you could feel it in the stores. That is what this feels like.

We are still having aftershocks, but I am the only one in the house that can feel them (!had one as I typed this!). Maybe I should go get a glass of wine.

That reminds me of the Stratosphere tower in Las Vegas. They used to have a roller coaster at the top, and it made the observation decks up there shake and vibrate. That is not something you want to feel when you're standing on top of a 1149-foot building!
