I am such a doofus.

I was getting gas, and I tripped, and totally wiped out right there in front of God and everybody.
There's a lot of me... gravity is not nice.

I haven't had skinned knees since I was like 11 or so. :( I'm such a dork.
And it hurts.

I want my mommy and a band-aid.

Then I most certainly should have seen a sign, I guess it just didn't register. I'm fairly certain that we drove on the A80 out of Glasgow on our way to Aberdeen.

No way Theague! You know the saying "pictures, or it didn't happen!?" Well, I'm pretending it didn't happen. My ego is bruised too, ya know!

Dude, SO many people saw me totally bif it, and not one even acknowledged it. No giggling, no concern, nothing. Weird. Of course that made it easier to drag myself back into the truck and drive off.

LOL Cat! I went out to my truck one day thru a gym in one of my elementaries... The kids were doing a coordination exercise... walking sideways: right foot in front of left, left foot, right foot behind left, left foot.... so I decided to walk across the gym in the same fashion and fell flat on my bum!

We can be fellow dorks!

That was very kind of everyone... So do you still need gas? You should have just driven to the next station. :)

OK, I need some help. (We all knew that, right?)

Wade got some vacation time, and we have to take it over the July 4th holiday.
We have NO idea where to go.

We would have 5 days (4th - 8th) and we don't want to have to drive more than 5-6 hours in any one day.

We will be traveling on the evening of the 3rd, so wherever we are on the 4th will need to have some sort of celebration, with fireworks and all.

Don't really want to do big city type stuff. We'll be going to San Diego in October, so we are kind of ruling out anything ocean for July.

Our first thought was Yellowstone, but it is near impossible to find lodging near the park over a holiday weekend.

Anyone know anything about Carlsbad, New Mexico?
Or any place in southern Idaho that is interesting?

We don't really want to do canyon hiking here. July is too hot. We are thinking more mountains and trees.

Suggestions??
