And mercurichrome. That stuff hurt.

Thanks, I had forgotten about that stuff for years now. We hid all our cuts and scrapes as kids to avoid it. :)

This coming from a woman that thinks capturing a gall bladder mid flight is nirvana.

Yeah, but spiders are so damn sneaky! You can't hardly miss a flying gall bladder:rolleyes:

I remember methiolade! It didn't sting and it left your skin a cool orange color! Whatever happened to it?

Turns out it was a radioactive carcinogen.

They pulled it off the market. But it's still available at WalMart.

They have a black market supplier?

It's WalMart. They invented it.

It wasn't radioactive in the beginning, but they realized they could make .0000000001 cents more per bottle if they added the radioactive stuff.

It was a no-brainer.

Heck, it took three days of whining to get them to take me to the doctor when I broke my finger. They were sure it was just a sprain...

LOL my mom was a med Tech and still knows better than most doctors. She tried to butterfly bandage my head back together after a rock fight. After the debridement scrub of course. I ended up with stitches after that one:rolleyes:.

My dad is a mechanic.
Our bandages were primarily clean rags and duct tape. "If it can hold the mirror on the car, it will keep your skin together"-My dad.

My dad uses super glue and butterfly bandages. And he's an EMT II.

Well, that is what super glue was invented for! Seriously... It was created for emergency situations like that on battlefields.
