If I remember correctly, you're in oregon? We don't have cingular up here anymore. They've merged with AT&T or something like that. I had considered switching back to T-Mobile but their coverage isn't as good. I too hate the way verizon modifys their phones and messes with the software. I've NEVER had so many software problems with a phone until I switched to VZW when I got married. Cingular/AT&T isn't very good up here from what my friends have told me so I'll stick with the devil service.

Correct, I am in Oregon. And you are right, it is AT&T now.

AT&T became Cingular and then this year Cingular became AT&T.... got to love the telecommunication business!

AT&T works a lot better in the mid-west/east coast. I was down in Silicon Valley last year and I only had 1-2 bars of coverage down the freeway... that doesn't seem right!

But out here in Oregon I haven't had an issue - yet - crossing-fingers...

How do you focus? When I try self-portraits I set the camera on the tripod, set it to timer - click, run - and it shoots, but it is focused on something else, not me (because it focuses when I press the shutter button)

cable release. ;)

take a HOT BATH before you get in bed!

Becky N wrote in post #3409329 (external link)
Sorry about your fall Cat, how are you feeling this morning? Hope you took the hot bath Athena suggested.

I didn't. :( The only bathtub we have is in the kids' bathroom, and it would have taken more time and energy to make it bath-worthy than I was willing to give.

I'm not feeling too bad this morning. Will have to make a call to the chiropractor though. I most definitely moved things where they shouldn't be moved.

Off to work...then Opening Night. The preview went real well last night. Now to kick it up another notch.

Good luck on Opening Night!! Was last night when you got to choose the 4 people who came to see you?? How were their reactions?? Glad to hear it went well. What night does Curt take pictures?? When do we get to see them?? Is he recording it too so we can hear you??

BREAK A LEG!! (then fix it with duct tape, rubber bands and super glue)

So, who's interested in getting together for a meet during my Glenwood Springs trip? I'm getting the urge to start planning this thing, though I don't have any dates picked out just yet. I figure it's probably still at least a month away yet.

I'm guessing it'll be pretty much the same crew that helped Zane rebuild his RV: Beth, Jack and Steve. Plus, maybe I could swing through Utah and visit Cat and Wade. Maybe they could even continue on to Colorado with me to meet everyone else? Who knows. I'm just fishing for ideas right now.

When are you thinking of going? We are heading to the west part of Colorado July 3-8.

thomascanty wrote in post #3409890 (external link)
Oh, yeah. That's another thing I meant to ask. Do the flatties want to go?

And what would happen if Flat Cat meets the real Cat? Would that cause some kind of disruption in the time/space continuum?

 THAT would be weird!

Hmm... My Canon remote is pretty short... I was thinking of getting this:

^ That also would let me place the camera on a tripod by the bird feeder and take pictures without scaring the birds...

'sup Jamie? I won't do anything to disrupt the space time continuum. Don't worry.

I showed some of my photos to my Graphic Designer (the lady that does all the work for Dave Menegay Hyundai). Now she wants me to shoot her wedding in the back yard.
I don't know how to do that. And well all know what happens to Newbies in the WF. Whatever am I going to do?

Well I could. But I would hate to not do it for her. She has helped me (personally and store wise) so much I almost feel obligated.

Well, if you do it, just keep in mind that brides don't move as fast as race cars. Take your panning down a notch and you should be good to go. ;)
