:) Gives new meaning to 'when bulls fly'. ROFL!

I have not googled frong. I will be strong.

I have a work flow question: Do I need to have both a TIF file and a PSPIMAGE file? Both file types are lossless so I am thinking I can dump the TIF's? Yes?
I have way to many versions of the same image and it is becoming a real pain.
This is how I have been working:
1. Convert from RAW to TIF
2. Make adjustments to TIF and save as a PSPIMAGE (to preserve layers)
3. Merge layers in PSPIMAGE and save as JPEG.
That makes four versions of one image
Is it reasonable to think that on step 2 I could overwrite the TIF as PSP? The original PSPIMAGE is not harmed in the adjustment phase.
I await sage advice.

Does TIF save layers? I can't remember.

But, if I only had those two formats and had to delete one, I'd delete the PSP. TIF is more universal. Every image editing program I've heard of supports TIF. I don't think PSP is quite as popular.

(These sudden and frequent POTN blackouts are getting MUCH worse! I've been trying to post this for more than 5 minutes. I hope Pekka gets this fixed soon... I'll be kicking a little money his way next week after I see how big this "bonus" check I'm supposed to be getting is.)

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Do you want to know what we just ate??

Baked apples. Mmmmhmmmm. But not just any baked apples. Home made deliciously yummy baked apples.

The filling was brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, cloves, almonds and dried cranberries (instead of raisins)

Oh my holy YUM!!!!

I am so tired. I have to go to bed. I'm a bit leery though. I know that I'm not going to be able to move when I get up in the AM. Oi. I'm sore in places I didn't know I had. :p

Night all.

Did the memory come back to you painfully quick, Cat?
I just couldn't resist.

My eyes see well enough, and the camera is capable enough, now if they would just work together.

TIF doesn't save layers :( I wish it did. My thinking is that as long as I preserve the RAW file and one lossless file I can convert to any type down the road. Does that make sense?
