I'm out for the night too. Bye!

My eyes see well enough, and the camera is capable enough, now if they would just work together.

Zane I will look forward to Alaska in the morning ;)

Great shots Zane. A very interesting border crossing and a fantastic mountain view. Where was that last shot taken?

i run 2 monitors side by side
one comes from the dvi output on the vid card...... one from the anologue output....
theres no difference whatsoever in quality

and i guess it depends on the video card because i can control the brightness/contrast etc on both the monitors with the graphics card control panel.
i dunno about other manufacturers but nvidia cards come with software to specificly control dual monitor setups... (its called Nview)

Fly by... Glad you like the sign Dan! I saw a guy making 'em at a street fair and when I saw the bull graphic... well I almost *had* to get it! :D

Off to work before the rooftops become blistering hot!

GMAE, all.

Beth sweet sign you got Dan...bet he was clapping like Zane when he saw it.

Dan TR reminded my of that poem

Birdie, Birdie in the sky....gee I'm glad cows (bulls) don't fly.

Enjoyed you pictures too.

Zane gorgeous mountain view and the border crossing definetly needed its picture taken. Looking forward to more.

Opening night was great. From what I'm hearing, "How does it feel to be in the best production Starlight has ever done?" we have raised the bar quite high. There is a critic at the local rag that we are anxiously awaiting to see his column. He usually isn't very nice to Mike, goes back to Mike beating him out of the director's job. He complains about too many or too few people on stage, etc. He got fed humble pie on his review of the first show "Peter Pan" in that accused Mike of putting in extra charectors. He was quickly advised to do his homework and read the script. From what we are hearing from the audiance, he will be hard pressed to find any negatives. I'll post a link when the article is up.

Oh, and there were a dozen red roses with my name on them in the dressing room last night. That Curt, he is a keeper.

Got to go to work for a few hours, then home for much needed sleep. Got home about 1:00 this morning after the traditional trip to JMK Nippon's after the opening show.

Cat, et. al. have you heard the soundtrack from "Menopause the Musical"? One of the cast members gave me a CD I was busting out laughing listening to it in the car last night. I have to go see that production and then I want to be in a production of it someday.

FYI: Processing a backlog from january of photos to print is a PITA... I'm a bit miffed that photoshop's automation, for all the good it is worth, won't allow calling scripts within actions when using the Image Processor from bridge.

The agony.. the pain........ the defeat. I now have 2 actions for resize-sharpen. 1 for horizontal pics, 1 for vertical. I got fed up with manual sharpening, since from image to image my parameters don't change much, and just did one set of params for the whole set. Yeah, I know each image needs to be individually tweaked, but... I'm spending too much time processing pictures.

If the prints are just snaps, it's really not a biggie. If you SUPER over or undersharpen one here or there you'll catch it later.

I have 2 resize actions too. ;)

Lonnie, I would definately like to make the trip to Glenwood Springs. As soon as you have a time set let me know, I'll try my best to be there.

If Cat's path, and mine, don't cross before then, maybe we could hit her area for a few days during your adventure out here. ;)

I'll definitely let all y'all know when I can narrow down the dates I'll have available so we can get some plans going. I still haven't had Ellen repaired after that accident a month ago. I'm supposed to be hearing from the State Farm adjuster tomorrow to finally get this going. Once I find out how bad the damage is and how long it will take to fix, I'll be able to really get serious about making plans and reservations.

Steve (ayotnoms here on POTN) and I saw the sign for that in San Francisco last year. We were afraid to go in and see it, though...
