Mark I'm glad things on the MRI were good, hope they figure it out soon.

Wanda I wouldn't care about the flash memory, the camera bag they might look through but I know lots of folks who travel with camera/video/computer equipment regularly and have no problems.

I am shooting fireworks too!! Big celebration in my town, Grucci is doing a 40 minute display and I'm taking photos for the newsletter!

Becky, thanks for the info! Great shot too.

Crissa, its driving me nuts too. It seems that the less time I have the slower POTN is!

I doubt I'll get fireworks shots since I'll be in UK territory, but I don't usually stay up late enough for them anyway.

I need advice from the experienced flyers here (Lonnie, you may stay at MySpace). I have thumb drives I carry on my keychain, can I take those on airplanes without playing 50 questions with TSA? And if I have a ton of camera gear in my carryon, will I get pulled aside and have to prove that its all glass and not dynamite? Thanks!

Wanda, I have never had trouble, and I have carried on 2 bags of gear before. The most they have done is dusted it to check for explosives, otherwise I think they understand. The thumb drives should be no problem at all.

Just shot this we fella nattering at me right outside my office window. He was a nice relief in a day where I seemed to get nothing done.

I'd take a picture of what's left, but that's just the pits.

HAHAHAHA!! Oh... I just kill me!

uh uh uh huh.

I will say this about my flight to Orlando, Atlanta airport was a breeze no problems. However when I left Birmingham (small airport) the KID security guard at the gate wanted to look in my Backpack. Ok no problem. He had it up right and was in the process of unzipping. I quickly and firmly told him to lay it on it's back. (I had to do that twice). I was seeing all my gear falling to the airport floor. My blood pressure went up straight away. He just wanted to be big for his britches.

Denver (mostly north of me) got hit by a bunch of micro bursts today. Lots of fallen trees. In one parking lot, a bunch of car windows broken and the clinic where Magilla had his knee surgery had it's roof blown off!! http://www.9news.com …%202007/Default.aspx?N=55 (external link)

Kinda in Jack's part of town.... Jack?
