Like Wanda said, it's a Happy Days reference. "Jumping the shark" goes back to the episode where Fonzie jumped a shark on waterskis. Most people think that's when the show started to decline rapidly.

The Brady Bunch jumped the shark when Cousin Oliver joined the cast.

Wow. I learn something new in here every single day. INteresting stuff there, Lonnie boy.

Matthew fell off the basketball goal earlier this evening and smashed his face up. Major drama. :( His face looks terrible too.

Think I missed something.

Nope, you didn't miss anything. I was just reminded of a trip to Arkansas I took with the parental units back in the 70's. The few things I remember most about that trip are: 1) the water smelled like crap (literally) because of the iron in it, and I wouldn't touch the stuff. 2) The doggie parents I've already mentioned, 3) their half-mile-long driveway.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

It's amazing what we remember of childhood events, isn't it Lonnie?

Jamie, your botanical garden and zoo shots are fantastic! Really great stuff. I love the turtles, and the giant ants. :D

Thanks Cat. the Ants were a part of a exibition. It started raining before I could get much more of the art. There were some other neat stuff. It is called the Big Bug exhibit.

You must have a pretty patient (or equally warped) wife.

I can just picture it... "Hey honey? Can I play with the baby?"
Enter wife. stage right " What are you going to prop with him this time? I have to draw the line at golf clubs."

Mike. "But honey... he LIKES golf. You can see it on his face...look"
