Hi Puds, Hi Jim. Was it quiet in here without me?

Not too quiet, but still coulda been more noisy with your participation.

Why did you not tell me that you left that darn fish with Athena? WHAM, outta the blue, I get smacked with it. :p
And for no good reason too. :D

Other: At least two confirmed fatalities (vehicle accidents on I-15). Contact Utah Highway Patrol for more information. Portion of I-15 has again been closed at the current time--Closed from Cove Fort exit #132 and exit #95, south of Beaver. No time set for freeway to be re-opened. Crews are experiencing extreme fire behavior with heavy running and spotting in fine fuels. Greenville Bench Prescribed Fire is not connected to this fire. Several government agencies are involved in this fire.

Athena is always the fish keeper in my absence. You should have known that. ;)

Sheesh. I haven't even started my catch up yet. And you KNOW I have to. :p

my only objection to an otherwise lovely new comic strip Mike is that you said ducks were better than cows ;)

Nah, the ducks only think they're superior to the cows .... :)

That accident sounds very bad, glad you got around it.

I don't think so for what you are going for, actually the one by the dumpster looked to contrasty. The car looks more grey than silver in that shot. In this shot the mottled pavement and your adjustments makes the car pop.

thanks Becky for checking. I kinda made the dumpster pop a little. Guess I over did it, HUH?

puddlepirate44 wrote in post #3506950 (external link)
Jamie, I'd clone out the entire dumpster. I would, however, via photoshop, put in a large, bright picture of Donald Trump wearing a mime's outfit. I don't know why, but this somehow seems like a great idea to me.

Actually, she knew I took the shot, she even knew I was posting it, cos she suggested it... just to see what people had to say

A couple from his baptism:

(I didn't take these, but they were taken my my father in law with my camera. His (nikon) is in the shop, being gutted and repaired. Seems DSLRs and heavy rain don't mix.)

Sweet memorys!

I'm "on call" for construction assistance today. Apparently cutting the runners is more or less a one person job. Did have to pound and tighten 10 more bolts though.

So, since my creative juices got a much needed kick in the seat and because it is 100+ heat index today, I'm scrapping and visiting here. Also thought I'd show you the progress.

Before it all began (note the size of my herb garden) :

Several pages back you saw the demolation of the old walk. Curt setting the forms for the new sidewalk:

Pouring and leveling the sidewalk (quick shots as I was on my way to the first full dress rehearsal and had just done up my hair for the first time, so quick in fact I grabbed Curt's 20D by error):

The framing we got done yesterday and the new sidewalk (note what little is left of my herb garden):
