3 complete 2gb memory cards and started a 4th. It was a SCCA event. 7 run groups. I tried to make sure that I had several shots of each car. I shot in burst mode some times getting 3 shots at at time. I shot from 8:00 am until 4:00 p.m. 14 laps each run group. My back and head are killing me but I had a blast!

You guys are not going to believe this. I shot 3,087 Photos today. Went through them to cull them down, and got them down to 1567. Round two tomorrow. The the PP starts.

Holy Batcrap Robin. 400-500 in a day is tops for me.
You must not have been shooting RAW then, That would be like 20gb with the 350D (just a quick guess). With the 5D that would be 49gb of space needed (I did work that one out). :)

I caught that, too. My 20D only gets approximately 222 shots on a 2Gb card. Three or four of those wouldn't even give me a thousand shots.

My little bro stopped by, so my catching up was interrupted by visiting and such. I'm back on it in full force now though.

Yes I am. And I am determined to catch up. No skimming here. I was gone a LONG time. In fact, I think that is the longest EVER that I have been off-line at one time. EVER. It was weird. No phone service either most of the time.
But it was SO nice.
Thoroughly enjoyed the time with my Grandparents.

My Grandma's Alzheimers is getting pretty bad. My kids are very understanding, and it's amazing how good they are with her. My Gpa is an incredible man.
I'll share shots in a while... most likely not till tomorrow though. ;)

I only knew my Dads mom and not well.

Both of my dad's parents died when I was very young. I never got to really know either of them.

And, speaking of that side of the family, I just found out my dad's sister is dying. She told me in an IM a few weeks ago that her doctor thought she might have a tumor in her lung. I just found out from a cousin that the test results were positive for lung and bone cancer, and Aunt Marge has been declining very rapidly over the past month or so. I got to see her for the first time in about 25 years when I stopped at her house in Pahrump on my way to Las Vegas last November.
