Sorry to hear about your Aunt, Lonnie. :( Are you going to make another trip out to see her anytime soon?

In fact, I think that is the longest EVER that I have been off-line at one time. EVER. It was weird. No phone service either most of the time.
But it was SO nice.
Thoroughly enjoyed the time with my Grandparents.

As much as I enjoy the luxury of 'being connected', I also love getting away from it all for a while and just focus on whatever I am doing at the time.

I'd like to, if I can. I don't know if I'll have the chance, though. We'll see.

I'm home.

Off to catch up. ;) I'll be gone awhile. Maybe I'll double tab it, and catch up while I keep up. :p

CAT!!!!!! *waving like excitedly and not caring about possible coffee spillage*

Both of my dad's parents died when I was very young. I never got to really know either of them.

I just found out from a cousin that the test results were positive for lung and bone cancer

Sorry to hear. Cancer is getting so common it is scary.
Both my Grandfathers killed themselves and my moms mom died in a fire. Insanity and doom and gloom runs large in my family. That is why I am so normal, RIGHT:evil: ?

See?!?! If I had decided to just jump in rather than catch up, I would have missed Jim doing the dishes. That would have been tragic.

It sure is. That's what killed my mom's dad. My mom's mom, the only grandparent I have left now, was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago, but so far seems to have beaten it.

That's your idea of tragic?

Cat and Terri are both back at the same time? This thread should get pretty busy again...

I got a new toy,a VRD-MC3 DVD burner made by Sony. It is a stand alone no computer needed. It has card slots in it as well as usb, fire wire, and AV connections. I can burn video to DVD in the field and drop it to the media quickly.
