I'm not sure about Yellowstone Park there Jim, but I did some more searching through my Photos and I came up with this. I had to sneak up on him and I think I caught him by surprise. As for how they got here, did you check out that thing in the background? Kind of makes you wonder... Maybe Crissa was right after all. ;)

My eyes see well enough, and the camera is capable enough, now if they would just work together.

He didn't think it was too funny. He took off and I never saw him again. I was lucky to get such a close up of the little guy. Most of the pics of Ant Elk are from a standing position and they are so small, it's hard to make them out. ;)
I looked away for a second and the round saucer thing was gone too. Things that make you go Hmmmm!

Jim, this was close to Rocky Mountain National Park, so maybe they migrated from Yellowstone, or however they travel....

Thanks Zane, I'm not sure if that's shock, fear, or surprise. The lens coming through the grass at him must have looked like a Canon. :) Hahahaha :) I crack myself up.

Nelson (external link): the blonde one-hit-wonder sons of Ricky Nelson of the 80's. I actually have one of their albums. (did they have more than one?) Havent listened to it in years. 'I can't live without your love and affection'. Great song.

Jack, that is the best photo of ant elk I have ever seen! Great capture, well done.

Jack, want to come over and clean the coffee I just spewed all over my monitor? Nice capture definetly looks like you got their mode of transport there, you might want to send this out to the tabloids. This is checkout counter news worthy for sure.

I beg your pardon, those were Ant Elk!  ;) I am not sure if there ever was a determination about where they came from.

Hi Ya, Cat, Crissa, et. al. Relaxing after work with laptop in lap and beer on the milk can aka end table.

A gentle reminder to all, December 15 is the start of Hanukkah, not sure how this might affect orders with B&H.
