Yeah, I wanted to do a bunch of 'eye' shots with my kids, so Tevin had taken his glasses off for me. So when I moved to full face shots, he still had them off. It doesnt even look like him to me, LOL. There is definitely mischief, and it is not lurking beyond, LOL.

Wow Cat, those are really awesome shots. Love the under-pier one. Real shame about the trashed negative - can you not rescue the shot by scanning in the water-damaged shot and photoshopping it?

I'm desperate to go out into the countryside with my camera, but I'm soooo busy and when I'm not busy, it's raining, foul weather out there.

I have ideas for macro-land, but never the time...:(

Huge congrats to JD for taking his first steps - a ground-up shot of him toddling around with a wide angle lens would be so so cool (unless of course he has a vomitting session...)

Can you believe that I havent done the WWPD for a few weeks?! I don't know why.

I haven't either. :( I know why, though. Just too darn busy...

In photoshop, I could spend a little while, and fix it. In film... what can you do with a horribly scratched negative?
Totally bummed.

Scan in the print you have now, fix it and print it... ;)

Nice, photos, by the way.

This is a most excellent and inspirational video

You had me close to tears with your kind words then the video put me over the edge. What an inspiration not only for over coming obstacles but for the friends/family that help with the accomplishments.

Some very exciting news :D Jaiydann took 6 steps last night!

Oh a whole new ball game of fun is about to begin now. Have that camera ready at all times!

I don't like flash. Of course, some of that probably is because I don't quite understand flash

Admittedly, it helps to have hands on;) teaching from Da Measurbator, and it has begun to change my mind on flash now that I am learning how to get rid of the harsh shadows. There is still a lot to be said about natural light and I don't think Curt and I will ever totally agree about the artistic/natural appearance that shadows from other light sources and how they can enhance a picture.

Tonight was my last 'fun' class. I can't give it up.

You are doing a great job and the pictures you posted are proof in the pudding. I love them all, the rose and cat, and I'm not a cat fan, would find a space on my wall any day.

Have to agree with Pete and Lonnie, try scanning them and fixing them in Photoshop.

My good news...Aiden's test results came back normal. Course we wonder what caused the 2 siezures, they meet with the doctor next week to discuss some other possible causes. But, at least it doesn't look like they will be an on going issue.:D :D :D

Holy Cat Crap, it is 7:22 I got to get ready for work, as though being late is anything new:rolleyes: , course seldom do I leave at 5:00 either.

Great images Cat.

I'm not even going to attempt to go back the many pages I have missed on here. I hope nobody has been flaming me too bad. :D Life (mostly work) is way too busy now trying to get some projects finished up before Christmas, lots of pressure from customers right now. Most of my company is taking the time off during the holidays, I will be too as well as heading to Mexico for the first week of the New Year. Yahoo!!!

That's probably for the best. You really don't want to see some of the things Pete has been saying about you. It's kind of embarrassing, actually... :D

LOL... Well, Jim, I did give an IN DEPTH description of who Nelson is, just for you, so that you would know why Crissa called you that. And now the 'cuddly' just fits right in with it. ;)

Thanks everyone for your kind words on my pics.
Crissa, they are all 8x10, mounted on 12x14 boards.

And I think I will most definitely scan and fix the print I was talking about. Can't use it for class, but at least I will have it for me, eh? ;)

OK.... on your advice, I scanned the 'hands' photo, fixed the bad spots, added a border, and posted it HERE

:D

Did I tell you that Tevin is a willing participant in all things photographic? LOL. He must have let that pile of dirt fall through his fingers 2 dozen times before I was done. I ended up taking about 6 shots and this was the best one. (And wouldn't you know, all 6 shots were on the same negative strip, so they were all ruined in the enlarger... grr.)
