Crissa, I was wondering the same thing.

Jim, Oh, Jim...this is for you but you got to read it out loud to get the full affect:

Mary had a little lamb
Whose feet were black as soot
And everywhere that Mary went
His sooty foot he put!

ROFL!

Is it just me or are there a lot more show us threads starting up in the General Chat forum? Could it be this is the place to be seen???

I have been noticing the same thing

Thanks Cat, but OMG is this addictive,

'Tis, isn't it? I can do them all day. Most days, I do, LOL. I love it. It is actually what got me into serious photography. I have always loved photography, and way back when I had a Kodak Easy share camera I was doing the 'graphic art' side too. It was all about the words. Eventually, though, I wanted my photos to be better, which led me to where I am today. The graphic art is still my business, and I still love doing it, but I am happier with my photos now than I used to be.

Oh, I get thumped by default every few minutes anyhow. She's used to me now. I misbehave to make her appear perfect, after all.

Which she is, in my eyes...

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! *wiping away a single tear*

I tried to be "good" enough to get a new computer, but I didn't get much of a chance. :(
Need one- this laptop is 5 years old or more, no LCD, Keyboard has been replaced twice. Not going to last much longer but I am going to squeeze every bit I can from it. Will have Josh's Groom's dinner and the photographer to pay for, as well as possibly moving. The tubes and the 50 were probabl frivolous since I haven't used the 30 and the Tammy, but. . . maybe I'll shoot some flowers for Zane.

Wu, with your permission, I would like to perform a computer ceremony for you ;)
It won't necessarily bring you a brand spanking new one, but perhaps extend the life of 'old faithful'.

We want pictures of said ceremony! (It isn't as secretive as the Brownie ceremony, is it?)

Hey, I was gonna say that!

Thanks guys. :D
I did one last night for each of her 4 kids. It was fun, but time consuming. They aren't perfect, and I could nitpick them to death, but they turned out OK for a first try. :) And my sister will like them, so that's all that counts.

I think you know me enough to guess what kind of "good" I mean;)

I never allowed photographs at my rituals either.

The quandary now, do you shoot to fit a quote or find a quote to fit the picture. My guess 'tis a bit of both.

Becky... yep. Both. There are lots of shots I take with intentional dead space where I can put a quote. And sometimes I'll have a verse I want to use, and I'll just scan through my pictures till I find one that fits.
I love the last one you posted in the photos and words thread... looks like that picture was taken specifically for that quote. Perfect.

Crissa... Anything smaller than an 8x10 I have printed at Walmart. As long as the image is saved as a jpeg, they can print it. Anything larger than an 8x10, (and all paid jobs) I have printed at my local photo lab.
I can't print photos with the quality that a lab can. I use my printer for proofs, and cataloging, and various this and that, but never for prints.
