I cook as an excuse to avoid the rest of my life so I am researching a seafood gumbo or something of that sort. I should be in and out this evening(insert time zone here).

I'd share my recipe, but then. . .well it wouldn't be nice. If you want, show me what you get and I can give you some pointers. I can't say mine's as good as my mamma's, but it is a hit with all sides of my clan which makes some with claim to straight gumbo in the bloodstream, jealous.

Rule number one about a horse, especially a Thoroughbred, is if there is a way to hurt themselves they will. They are gentile giants and somewhat fragile. Man has domesticated horses for thousands of years. As a result we have some very well suited animals for specific uses but they lack the original toughness that evolution took millions of years to instill. A Zebra is one tough as nails horse but you will not put a saddle on him and live to tell about it.
In my horses case the wood was stuck down the hoof wall from the top where the hoof meets flesh(coronary band). He probably caught the edge of a log or fence as we jumped it and it pushed the wood in from the top

I would ask Wu but..... maybe not.
Becky I am doing a Catfish stew that I like. I got hungry and gave up on my grand plan of bouillabaisse for tonight.

Anyone have a picture of "good coffee being extracted?" I am ready to shoot myself peeing if necessary. Never say I didn't step up to the plate when needed.

Told you I'd be real happy to give you some pointers. Just can't share the complete recipe cause I am one of those cooks who seldom uses one. I know what I put in, with variations and everything is measured by its fit in my hand.

Thanks for the lovely image floating through my wee brain Zane.

I was kinda wondering what 'extracted' means in regards to coffee, but now I know.

Though a similar thought crossed my mind when trying to figure out extracting coffee.

I also thought of taking a shot of scooping the coffee grounds out of the container.

I was thinking a grinder, but I don't go near coffee so I would have no way of getting that photo.
