Lonnie is your site all moved and done? What about the shots from your latest jaunt?

I got my site moved a while ago. Right now I'm working on getting Pekka's Exhibit Engine up and running on my Travel section. I'm almost done, but I've been having a lot of server problems today. Right now it's responding extremely slowly, and I can't get anything done. I'm going to have to call my host again...

I noticed your server was slow earlier waiting for a shot to load that you took in SF of another POTN member, took forever.

Even my host's site is taking forever to load, so they're apparently having some network problems.

Do you work the holiday and get money or overtime or comp time to vacation?

Me? I usually work the holidays for the time-and-a-half. I never celebrate holidays, so I'd rather have the money. I am going to be heading to Northern California next week, though, taking a little trip beforehand.

Go, Crissa go :) Sounds like you are getting some good goodies! I just bought a 500gb EHD, now the fun part-moving everything over *sigh*.
I love those old Christmas movies! We will watch them over and over (with and without the kids, lol)

Lonnie I don't envy you your project, it sounds like a LOT of work! And, may I wish you and Ashley a Merry Christmas even tho you don't celebrate?

cool, whereabouts?

The ghost towns along Highway 49. If Highway 50 or Carson Pass is open without chain restrictions (I hate putting those on!), I'll go to Lake Tahoe also.

Thanks. ;) You, too!

Yeah, it's a lot of work, but it'll be so much better when it's done. Then I can move on to other projects that I've had on the back burner for a while now.

I have my Dell all ready on my wish list, waiting to see if there will be any good last minute sales or after xmas sales for them. with Vista being rolled out and purported quad chip machines on the horizon what I want should easily get way more affordable.

Very wise, Crissa. I, unfortunately am an 'instant gratification' type of shopper and must have what I want as soon as I can afford it, lol. The longest wait for me was the purchase of Daisy...it took me a month to click the 'add to cart' on B&H.

Oh Terri I fill carts daily, never click the checkout button tho, except the past three days when I bought the tubes, HD and some flash memory.

I've been futzing around with the dells for weeks now, saving configurations I like and such. I have one in my favs and I'll check it now and then to see if any further reductions have come out.
