Good stuff Cat, I look forward to your passing of knowledge on down to the rest of us. I need to take some courses, specifically one that will help my Photoshop CS2 skills.

Did Lemon Gin get commonly referred to south of the border as 'Panty Remover' like it did up here.

I remember hearing the term before, but I never paid attention to exactly what kind of drink it referred to.

So, even though tonight was my last night for class, I get to sign up for the next one, and we start in January. :D :D

Cool! I wanna take one of those classes. I should check the local junior colleges sometime and see what they have to offer.

oo oo ooo! On a side note... (and then we can carry on with our regularly scheduled weirdness)...

I had a special order today that paid enough for tuition for the advanced photography course!! :) Same professor. Many of the same classmates. :D

I have to rifle back through my bartending recipes for it......

After I got over the fact that everyone was a millenium younger than me, it was quite fun.

I just picked up Dracula and To Kill a Mockingbird on CD. That should give me plenty to listen to on my trip next week...

Where you going Lonnie?

And who narrates 'To Kill a Mockingbird'? That one could be dangerous whilst driving, unless it's got a VERY good reader.

Do you enjoy the book on cd? I tried a couple and I just can't seem to get into the story. I much prefer to be curled up on the couch with my book.

LOL, Cat:lol:

It's my annual Christmas trip to California's Gold Country (and Lake Tahoe if I can get there without putting on my chains).

TKaM is read by Sissy Spacek.

Sometimes. Last year I had Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" playing during this trip. My mind would drift sometimes and I'd lose track of where I was in the story and have to backtrack a little. We'll see if I can pay attention a little better this time. :)

I've read Mockingbird and Dracula many times before, but it's been a while for each one. I do usually much prefer to do the reading myself, but sometimes listening to it on CD works.
