Oh - and can any of you recommend some good books to me?

I just finished reading Cold Mountain (recommended to me by Pete). It was very good. It goes into much more detail about the story than the movie did. The author, Charles Frazier, just came out with another one called Thirteen Moons. I ordered that one, but haven't started it yet. Currently I'm reading Stephen King's latest, but I don't know if I'd recommend it. If you like his stuff, it's ok.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

I love books on tape, used to listen all the time when I commuted into NYC daily, really broke up the monotony.

Glad you are safe, Athena.
And after red wine, G&T is my next favorite. I have yet to try Sapphire, though. It is on my wish list.

Oh - and can any of you recommend some good books to me? I am going to Bangkok this weekend and there's a fairly good English book store there (NONE here).

What kind of books do you like? I just finished re-reading "From the Corner of His Eye" by Dean Koontz. One of my all time favorite books. BUt it is a horror/suspense novel. The bad guy in it is really bad.

YAY!! You are lucky that you got a reader. All of my kids like to read too, but only one of them has the passion for it that I do.

Another book that I enjoyed immensly was "The Time Traveller's Wife". Written by someone I wouldn't have a hope of spelling, but a quick visit to Amazon will bring it up...

Was it one of the ideas you were talking about with me yesterday? Have you even done those yet?

Where's the thread?

No, it's something quite separate. I'm going out into gloomy graveyards tonight (if it's not raining).

That competition thread is here... https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=250197

I won a mention in the "innovation" stakes...
