ROFL!! Thank you Neil. You really know how to cut a rug.

I think that was the link that Mark (?) posted a while back for Lonnie, that I couldn't ever get to open.

Merry Christmas to you, Neil :D

I can't take the blame for the link though, that was Pete. I think he was thanking Lonnie for all the help he gave him with lens advice through the year ;)

Cool shots with the cross polarisation Alan. I didn't figure it was a CD case until you told us. Looking very effective.

I loved your Boxing Day hunt shots although the link to more would not work for me.

Did you try his personal gallery link in his siggy? I got there through that link.

Beautiful shots, Neil. Wonderful way to bridge the generations judging by the age range shown. Beautiful animals too.

And a merry, merry and happy, happy back at you.

Well, found out today that my media card reader isn't working, they are sending me another. Got my video card in, everything else is just ducky. I don't have any photo editing software loaded yet so I'm a bit limited with that.

Sucks that you have to wait for a new one, but glad that everything else is working good!

I figured out today that my 'dinosaur' of a computer can't quite handle cs2.
So I'm thinking of upgrading (had been thinking that anyway...)

Choices....choices.....

I have a Dell already, and I have loved it. It's just not quite fast enough anymore.

:D I'm glad that yours works for you. I don't think I have the energy to learn a whole new operating system.

Yeah, I was thinking of just getting some more RAM. That would help a lot. BUT.... I've been thinking of upgrading my whole system for quite a while now, and I don't know if I want to spend the $$$ for the RAM, if I'm going to be going with a whole new system eventually.
Problem, is that I can afford more RAM right now, but would have to finance a new set-up, which I don't think I'm willing to do.

I lived with a limping machine for over a year Cat, save up and you will be better off. Some ram is cheap these days, what kind does your machine take?

Where's Pete??

I've got a Dimension 2400. To upgrade to 2G would cost me just over $300. Not too bad, but I'd rather put it towards a new system.

I LOATHE financing. We pay for everything up-front, or we don't get it.

I'll probably go with the RAM though, and stick with this computer for a while.

LOL...no. I haven't shared any of those with you guys.

The Kodak is mine...I keep it around for memory's sake. It was my very first digital camera. We took it with us to my folk's house Christmas day. With the chaos and mayhem that ensues there when my whole family is together, using the Kodak is better for my nerves.
