The quick release plate must be about as big as the Gorilla Pod. :)

My eyes see well enough, and the camera is capable enough, now if they would just work together.

So what are the new shots you needed to process?

ALL of my xmas shots, the bridge series and some outdoor play shots from yesterday...

Looks good on my monitor. I have issues with yellow tones myself

someone on the forum uses his with a ball head I'm pretty sure, some day I'll start looking into tripods and heads and quick release...it all seems vaguely confusing and expensive at the moment.

Must be a mini ballhead. I think mine is about the side of the gorillapod itself. lol It is a cute contraption though. I bet it's fabulous with 350 sized cameras.

When you're ready to look into tripods, let me know. I have a set that I highly recommend. :)

Looks like quite the contraption, whatever works. I have a small table top model, like in the link picture. It does work pretty well, never thought to try to put a quick release on that though it might work pretty well too. Hmmmmmm!

Cool. That's even the same QR plate I use.

I was trying to get a refraction in a drop

Good first attempt, I'll have to check out that Gorilla link later today. Drops are one of those attempts on my "To Do" list.

I like your Chrismas pictures as well. Glad you got the RAW reader working

The word Kenko was overheard :)

Woo Hoo, I hope your hunch is right, you will enjoy this new area of exploration.:)

The shoot last night went well. Apprx 375 images to PP now, course some won't make the first cut. Our friend sang for her folks as well. The combination of nerves, stress from helping to get the party ready, and a bit of wine on an empty stomach, made her rather blue around the gills during dinner. She wasn't able to finish the party...I'll be sure to call her this week and send her some hugs. Hopefully she doesn't have the flu that is running rampant in our area.
