I've actually been having some fun.
Kids went to bed early, and hubby is watching a movie, so I've been dong the classic "go to each sharing section and click 5 pages back to see if any have gone unreplied, and post to them"
You would be surprised to see what kinds of shots go un-replied to.
I know that some just get overlooked.
It's nice to comment and bring them back to the limelight.

I saw you mention that before, Cat. I try to do the same thing occasionally now too but I must admit I don't cover all the shares. It's nice to be able to help some of the shots. Some get no more comments but others then seem to get loads after the initial reply. Things that make you go Hmmm. ?!

You didn't specify which #44 and at first I thought you guys were looking at the file name IMG_0044-01.jpg . lol

;) That's just to keep you guessing. I had to reset the file numbering on the camera because I used one card in another camera. My shot count jumped from 500 to over 4000. Now I'm back a bit closer to where it should be and have cleaned off all the cards.

Hello all!

Mark: Love those pics - Some interesting characters

Cat: Glad you have recupped from the festivities. I had not one alcoholic beverage (I spent the evening with Jaiydann :))

Crissa: I love your series! Great PP work

Zane: Your Mrs. Kitty Boots could be a relative to my Blue!

Thanks for the comment Terri. Yes - there are some complete nutters around Newquay that night. Some take camera's ;) and some of them are even in fancy dress ;) :D

Hey Pete.

Good to see you back. I think the one bit everyone wants to know is Ali's reaction to her present - <link to Cat's post>

Oh, and I spotted Lonnie and Cat out and about in Newquay on New Years eve, even if they are trying to pretend they were at home ;) That lot of posts is only a couple of pages back.

[Sorry - had to edit some smileys out of the quotes...]

Thanks Mark. Yeah, she loved the necklace, but I think she was expecting a ring (just like the rest of you). I'm kind of making her hang on just a bit longer for that... ;)

I found out just now that I've booked myself today as being on holiday (in my Outlook), but unfortunately I'm at work, and I didn't book today off as offical holiday time, so I'm double-darned... Oh well...

Hmmm. I did wonder with those hints you said she was dropping ;) Just a bit longer eh? Do I detect a slight change in the tune there from previous comments? ;):)

Was the necklace in a jewellery box, about ring sized too? If so, I'm surprised you survived Christmas... Or was that what your Mum was hiding from (from TPBM) ;)

Shame about the holiday. Wish I had today booked off - too many late nights (pp'ing New Years shots and chatting on here). Never mind - Nifty's on his way to me so maybe I'll take a day off in the next few days to see if I can get some shots out and about with him. I'll PM you about handover once I've had a chance to talk about timing at home.

which do you prefer?

Straightened looks much better. I like the shots a lot knowing how Eli is learning how to shoot. Looks like he is working on his composition.

Is Aidan back home now Becky? How far from you do they live?

Yes, he went back home Wednesday of last week. They are three hours away, three boring hours away. Makes for a long day to go visit for an hour or two, but; well worth it. Need to try and get some formal shots of him soon.

I want to take this photo and have my nephew stay as is but the background to be B&W.

Glad Cat was able to help you out, the series turned out very nice and I'm sure your sister will love the gift.

Yeah, Mark. There's a bit of friendly joshing me around that subject. Everyone knows it'll happen, but I want it to be a surprise when it does happen!

Just been out and about taking some shots of St Pauls with the wide angle. can't wait to get back home to see how they turned out (plenty of discards, I'm sure!!).

Hey-ya Crissa! Yup, I'm out and about again...

Becky, I think Zane meant "The most recent shot this year, so far...the last one that I took a few minutes ago" LOL

Hiya Pete. Good to have ya back in full force. :) That shot of your mom cracks me up.

I'm was thinking he meant his last shot of 2006. Only Zane knows for sure at this point.

Something I said yesterday references New Year's Eve 2007, caught myself just before posting to change it from saying "next" year to "this" year. We'll see how many checks I have to correct to 2007 verses 2006, though usually not a problem a) most checks are done through Quicken that correctly dates for me b) in my job I have been using 2007 for at least 6 weeks - 2 months now.
