We'll see how many checks I have to correct to 2007 verses 2006

I was so proud of myself last year. I made it through the entire year without ever once writing the wrong year. I have a perfect record so far this year, too. I wonder if I can keep it up. :D

I bet every one of us can share a picture of someone trying to hide from our cameras.

LOL! I have a print of my mom trying to disguise herself with broccoli :) I will have to scan it in when I am back at home and share  But you can't tell!

Pete, great shot of your mom!

I do most of my banking online, too. But, I have to write the date several times in various log books every day at work.

I just wanted to update y'all. My server woes still continue. My host moved all the affected servers to a new range of IP addresses, and once that trickled down through the DNS servers throughout the world, everything was peachy. For about a half day... Then the attackers updated whatever they're using to point to the new addresses and the onslaught is on again. Sigh...

And, for those who said they didn't understand what exactly was going on, maybe this will help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack (external link)

I've changed my sig to note the links to my web site are no longer working. And, my sig is now at 992 characters. Only eight more and I hit the forum limit! :)

That's tough Lonnie.

Are they targeting you specifically or is it against another site on the same server? Maybe they could try moving each site on the affected server individually to see what's under attack - unless they can already see from the logs... Hmmm

Nasty news, Lonnie. Lets hope you're hosting people manage to close up whatever ports being attacked and those people move on to something else...

Took a wander around London where I work at lunchtime today (part of my diet!!).

I liked the look of these pillars and roofing on this colonnade.

Undecided about this one. I was going to enter it into the camera club competition ("Made of Stone"), but I'm having misgivings that it's not good enough.

Pete I would love to shoot a car under that. That would be an awesome shot me thinks.

Pete, I really like those!
Love #1... what a neat place.
#2... the girl between the pillars cracks me up.
#3... beautiful as always.

#4 is great, I love the light on the building, but agree with Crissa that it should be lightened in the foreground a bit.

Crissa: WOO HOO!!!!! That lens is on my wish list. ;)

I don't really know. My host hasn't said anything about it being specifically my site, but with the storage they provide, there can't be very many other sites hosted on the same server. I hope it isn't just me, though. I certainly can't think of anything I could have done to piss someone off this bad... LOL
