Yes, Nifty arrived this morning while I was at work. I've got to go out to sort some stuff for family now but I hope to get back with enough time to shoot a couple of still life's I have in mind.

Just brought home a Canon i6600D printer for my camera club printing. The quality is very very very good. Way better than I expected. Woo hoo!!!

I don't use my home printers for photos anymore at all....except proofing. The quality is too bad. Any photos I need printed go to WalMart (small jobs) or my local photo lab. (The owner is also my professor )

It's going well. Saving madly for my trip to Scotland. I can't believe it's only 5 months away... coming up fast.

I just wish our economy would boom or the british would go down. The stupid british pound is SO strong right now, it's 2 dollars to the GBP right now. STUPID expensive!

I don't even remember the last time I opened photoshop. lol

Spent far too long messing with the printer and struggling with mounts that I don't have sorted out. now it's too late to go and I only have one half decent shot to show off.

I'm SO annoyed at myself for not being better prepared for this...

I went through the whole range of emotions, but ended up deciding it was best in the long run to just see the humor in it and laugh it off. Being pissed off wasn't getting anything done...

I just got this bright idea to check my control panel (which is always accessible, so I don't think it's actually hosted by my own server), and see if they were filling up the "Blocked IP address" list and check if they had put my own in there (explaining this morning's sudden response halt), but I clicked the wrong bookmark. My forum's home page loaded up. I thought, "damn, that isn't it!" and started to go back to my bookmarks when it dawned on me... The forum loaded! My server is responding again... I wonder how long it'll last this time.

I have an Elan 7E, too. I don't use it as often as I should, but every once in a while I'll pull it out of the bag. It's a great camera. You'll love it! The eye control is really cool. I don't understand why they haven't put that into any of these digital bodies.
