On a side note, it would be somewhat difficult to surf being completely decked out in SCUBA gear. It might give the impression that one lacks personal confidence in the sport....

Very true and oddly philosophical.

well...I am known to be odd and even philosophical at times. ;)

PS: one must store scuba gear out of sight in the trunk of the surf board to avoid any questions about e's confidence. ;)

Well, you know not everyone knows about the trunk on surfboards... Only us super-clever folk. ;)

(was that last compliment enough to divert you from objecting to there being trunks on surf boards?)

I'LL SAY IT! YES! I WILL!

THERE ARE NO TRUNKS IN SURFBOARDS!!

Only glove compartments.

oh ye of little faith (in me). Sigh. Go then - surf with no SCUBA gear. Perhaps your glove compartment is large enough for a snorkle or at least a chocolate bar.

Shark repellant only. SCUBA gear chafes when going for the curl.

Geez, OK, already! I'll buy the Cadillac DeLux model surfboard with leather upholstery and OnStar navigation. But I will not, positively will not go with the gold plated back fins. That's just over the top.

Even the Honda comes with a trunk - no need to go pretentious. ;) I do like the Onstar bit though!! Maybe just a regular GPS on the Honda model?
