Too late for that. He said that was the last one, too.

I got my Elan 7E today. I'm in love. :D

Congrats, Cat. Can't wait to see what you do this semester, I'm glad you are able go back to back on your classes.

He sent me a ton of film, too, but it is all hand-rolled, in nondescript canisters.

Now that sounds like fun...film roulette.:D

My assignment to myself for tomorrow is to use custom function 4 with my focus set to ai focus.

Good for you, the Nike theme works well in photograpy...Just do it! Some stuff you'll like some...eh...not so much.

AND.... I just found out that I share second place in one of PetKals competitions. Yay me!

Congratulations, Cat...I remember when you first posted those pictures, loved the glow then and now.

Yep. Here's what my desktop looks like.

Now that is just cool...good idea keeping someone between Curt and me...some days more so than others.;)

Scott Stulberg (external link) (pro photog) calling my work stunning!

He is quite correct...one of the challenges to myself this year is to explore beyond the obvious much like you have done...also to take more pictures of the obvious. Sometimes TPBM call makes me slap myself in the forehead thinking, why haven't I tried taking that kind of picture? So much to explore, should be a good year:D

LOL... It wasn't really a conscious decision other than to keep everyone in alphabetical order, but I'll have to look for some more POTN members to space you two out a little more.

So far, not today, (Curt's still asleep), it might be good to have a bigger buffer zone. J/K of course.

Time for me to get out and about...looks like some decent weather...guess I'll have my camera in the boot of the car as I am running errands, just in case.

Might take Bear for a walk later and get some more pictures of dead/dormant plants. Miniflash has also inspired me to buy some flowers today.;) Either way, I'm feeling creative...we'll see if I can do my camera any justice.

Catch you all later...have a great time everyone.

What I find amazing is the overwhelming grasp that Athena has on surf boards. Who knew that surf boards had trunks nowadays? Back when I was surfing, those huge wooden longboards were still in use. If you didn't have one of those, one could always try to see if Mom's ironing board would work (it doesn't), or if one's little brother could substitute (won't stop squirming). Now they have trunks, OnStar and mini-bars.

What's cool is that after you completely wipe out on the left break, if you planned ahead, your margarita is completely mixed by the time you retrieve your board. If your mini-bar only has beer, I'd wait a bit before opening the bottle.
