Oh, and I now have little clocks all over my desktop - just need to work out which applies to whom now!

These are pretty handy, aren't they? And are you always up at 1am? :)

I took some shots of some surfers today.

Wait, I just got this. You're from the UK, and you took some shots of surfers? Geez, those are some hard core boardsmiths!

Crissa, is that your sister in TPBM?
I've seen a couple pics of you...and she looks like what I remember you to look like.

Yep. I probably have a few hundred IR shots. I want to have my 10D converted to permanent IR also, but just haven't gotten around to that yet.

Tell me how you do it? I am SO curious.

BTW, I love your location.

wha...?? ?? No you di'n't!

..... it's a part of my OCD, Zane. Though I admit, all year long, I put my receipts in one folder, my invoices in another, and I don't sort through them till January.
SUCKS man. I need to do that differently.

Time to add a bit to my PELENG BOO-TAY!

I'm looking forward to Thursday's paycheck. I got a nice raise that goes into effect on it, and since it puts me over the max pay rate, a big chunk will be paid out in a lump sum. Oh, and there are two days of holiday pay on it. I maybe have to do a little camera gear shopping in a week. Hmmm.... Could I use a Peleng? ???

LOL.... Lonnie. I'm not going to buy a Peleng.
Booty in this sense refers to my AMPLE ARSE...
not something a Pirate searches for.

Jamie inferred earlier that a Peleng was needed to fit me in the frame. That or a tilt shift lens.

Hoya R72 filter on my Olympus C-8080WZ. Pretty simple. I've heard that the Canon's don't work as well with the IR filters, but I haven't tried it to see for myself. Those Hoya IR filters are WAY too expensive in 77mm sizes! Canon DSLR's do very well when converted to IR, though. The conversion basically just involves replacing the hot filter that's in front of the CMOS sensor with clear glass. Then, you just use the camera as you normally would, but now all of the images are infrared. If you do the conversion, the camera will not take normal pictures again unless you have it converted back. I haven't used my 10D much since I got the 20D, so I want to have it converted. That process costs about $350.

Wu was complaining about my ear worm this morning, so I figured I'd better change it.
