Other than a couple pages where IE is needed I have exculsively used Firefox for well over a year now and love it. I have a toolbar with the most common pages I visit. The multiple tabs are a great thing too, especially when researching something.

Cat, I can't tell if you are yawning or screaming in your new avatar, thus I shall assume the later. ;)

I'll leave it up to interpretation. Whatever fits the current situation. ;)

I am as well, nice shooting Mark!

Thanks Cat and Crissa!

Well I called Dell today and arranged to return my monitor for a new one. Every once in a while it gets stripes of color change going through it, very subtle but definitely noticeable. Its really funny, I am in no way one of those people who are always returning things and complaining about quality, before I found this forum I lived with a Sigma lens that needed to be calibrated for over a year assuming I sucked that much! I actually had no idea a lens could need calibrating. lol. Within the past two weeks I have returned a lens and a monitor, lol. But I figured I paid serious money for both and should get what I want.

Quite right too, Crissa. Although I must admit that I am not normally one for makeing a fuss!

Athena: Love the Christmas balls :D How did you keep yourself out of them?

Mark: I also had no idea there was a surfing crowd in the UK! Nice shots :)

Crissa: Good for you! I agree, when serious money is spent, the value needs to be there!

Cat: ROFL at your location  Nice avatar, too!

So, on the advice of a friend, I downloaded Firefox today :) After being booted out of IE for the FIFTH time this morning I decided I had had enough! So far so good, seems to scoot along quite a bit quicker and no troubles as of yet.

Thanks Terri. Yup, there is quite a strong surfing crowd in the UK and Newquay seems to be the destination for most of them, especially when the tournaments are on. Newquay itself is mostly surfwear or surf equipment shops, amusement arcades or tourist tat shops. Fortunately, I live just far enough outside to miss the worst the summer season brings.

Congrats on Firefox, I use it all the time. Make sure you download the 'Smiley' plugin ;)

I forgot that the EXIF extention was not in the main download. I use that SOOO much! If I have to use a machine without it installed, it's like one of my hands has been cut off!

 I had no idea this could be FUN! I decided to give it a try because I was so frustrated with IE not having a clue at what was really availble!
Thanks for the weather link, Crissa :D I just discovered that there is a severe weather warning  in Roseburg tomorrow! That is where I am heading tomorrow! Damn!

I don't know what I woudl do without logmein.com my parents are the antithesis of computer literate, it is a great tool to be able to log on remotely and control their desktop.

My mom once sent me an email in all capitol letters insisting that the computer would only type in capitals...

My eyes see well enough, and the camera is capable enough, now if they would just work together.
