I was thinking that there might be something you could do to bring out some more detail on the net judges face. :)

Crissa, for this series I was using my 80-200 f/4, the last two batches (not processed yet) I switched to the kit for the extra stop. Not sure yet if it helped or not.

Wow, 1/125, at f5, with no flash, and I would guess handheld. I'd say you did a good job. That's some tough shooting conditions. The 50 may have helped some.

i'd say the 50 f/1.8 autofocus isnt fast enough for indoor sports.. or outdoor sports really.. but i have no realworld experience with that. i believe everything i read.
