Check Sigma4less for pretty good prices. Curtis N and I use the RSP to straighten, crop, and exposure compensation then we convert them to 8 bit TIFF files. From there we bring them in to Noise Ninja, Paint Shop Pro, and possibly Digital Photo Professional to resize and sharpen and other fine tuning if necessary or artistic stuff if I'm so inclined. Need to edit, we don't post process EVERYTHING, just the keepers and when we do a performance shoot, we check which is the better of similar photos we may have both taken and PP the winner. But, we are averaging 300-400 pictures per performance CD which is a lot of PP. We have gotten into in a work flow rythmn and it really doesn't take all that much time. Burning the CD's is the time consumer. BeckyWomen and Cats will do as they please. Men and dogs had better get used to it. ~ Robert Heinlein; Procrastinate now! Don't put it off.. ~Cat (CFPackerfan)

Our nephew's flag football game and some senior pictures yesterday and out to a local apple orchard today. Curtis N didn't feel like shooting so I used the 20D. Must say I'm getting use to some of the features I wasn't top keen on at first and I'm beginning to really like them. Like that custom function using the * for focusing. Thanks for the info Becky, I wasn't sure why anyone would go to .jpg instead of leaving them raw or going to a lossless type such as .tiff. So I guess everybody does it a little different. Jack
