Hi, all.

Just came by to drop a pic (no, I didn't take it, but decided to share it anyway)

If some of you remember previously, I said we were expecting. We had an ultrasound done today, and found out we will be having a boy! Anyway, here's a shot of him:

Hi Zane, how is everything? How is your horse with the sore hoof?

That's one of the most beautiful shots I've seen in a very long time. Congrats.

All is very well, looks like he's well-formed, and in good shape! He's due on June 12, but the baby doesn't have a calendar, so probably sometime in June.

Congrats, how can you tell it's a boy?

I have a really terrible shot of Jack Johnson performing back in 2004... it's from about a mile away from the stage. :)

Uhmmmm.... Do I have to explain this? ;)

You can't see anything in that shot, but when they were running the ultrasound, it was very obvious when they moved the beam to the right area.

I'm sorry, I should have clarified my question more... FROM THAT ultrasound how can you tell? I couldn't see anything distinct other than the knoggin. :)

Your explanation answered my question though.

Yeah, our son was quite the exhibitionist when it came to his ultrasound....

hahaha

The baloon request made me wonder something. Does anyone on here have cataloging software of any kind for their photos? I'm sure you have to input key words and such for it but it would be a cool thing to have.

I use keywords very extensively in bridge, which allows me quick access to any photo, based on subject.

I need to add keyword support to my photo site, one of these days.

I tend to make sub folders in Aperture for things like portraits of the wife, lensbaby shots, night shots, etc. I add to them as they come up and I shoot more.

I have Bridge, never really learned how to use it yet though.. I'm SUCH a noob when it comes to CS2 and the like. :(

I used to have everything organized by date. Now I have it organized by the categories on POTN and then subdivided into the year it was taken.. I'm not sure I'm pleased with this layout though and was considering going back to the date organization until I find something better.

I should add my directory structure is by month, which seems to help a bit... Even though some months that I'm really active at taking pictures can really choke bridge.

Anybody ever make use of "collections"?
