GMAE everyone

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v215/medktulu/sarcastic-kneelsuckers.gif

Finally found a good smiley for my first post of the day.

last night made my problem worse. i was walking in the dark and tried to enter the bathrom. The door was shut so i kicked the door and reacted quite forcefully. Needless to say I was doubled over in tears at how much my neck hurts now. I've got an emergency doctor's visit in about an hour. =/

Wife is taking me. I'll let you all know what happens when I get back. :(

Um, that latest batch all have the steering wheel on the left (aka right ;)) side... Why's that?

What kind of software do you do this with?

well the saleen is left hand drive because thats how they are made (American car)
you can't get a right hand drive version

the tvr and the skyline are both right hand drive (us brits drive on the left so steering wheel on the right is the norm here) the skyline is Japanese but they also drive on the left of the road.

the software is a 3d modelling and rendering package called lightwave (ever seen babylon 5...... all the spaceship scenes...lightwave.. jimmy neutron boy genius.... lightwave.... jurrasic park... dinosaurs modelled in lightwave ...black hawk down... the matrix.....(just too many movies to list) it's a pretty professional spec bit of kit...
NEWTEK LINK (external link)

i started off in digital imaging LONG before getting a digital camera... it has been a big help in understanding photography.
here's a grab of the layout screen (think lightstage in film terms)

see anything you recognise in the camera properties dialogue (i''ve set it up here so it acts like a nifty 50 :))

when you both posted photos that contained the same framed image of Jesus.

I remember seeing that but never put the two together.

Cat - Congrats on the new wheels

Alan - Nice modeling, very impressive

Jamie/Puddle - Good tips on panning. Will mark them for reference material

Athena - How did the dinner party go?

The Ague - Sorry about your pain-in-neck being worse.:(

GMAE to you too. I got some muscle relaxers and percocet so I'm feeling a little better now. Getting kind of dizzy and tired though.

Looks like you can use it if there is something typed already but not if it is the first thing you are putting in the text box.

Hope your owies get better soon!

I have the smiley issue in the advanced box, too. Cat suggested choosing the smiley, double click, then copy it, THEN go back, hit the quote button and paste. It's an extra step, but that's the only way I've gotten it to work.
